Our Story

The Seventh Umbral Calamity shifted the terrain and uncovered many secrets lost to man. Years later, we are still discovering remnants of lost eras. This is one of those particular sites.What appeared to be the mouth of a cave led deep underground, and it was there our team found the remnants of a basement. Though harmless in appearance, its aether was and remains unstable--and unpredictable. Tools would go missing, only to appear days later in a strange place. Some days, doors would appear which led to another room, but would be gone again the following day. Eventually, the aether even permanently affected the researchers' mammet, who now appears to most as a typical viera.With the help of a team of skilled arcanists and astrologians, we were able to mostly stabilize the area, at least to the point of it being safe for guests. The aether here does continue to influence our work, as it enhances divination arts and intensifies the effects of our specialty cocktails.It is said that even the sound of the music played here can be heard beyond just your ears...All services and drinks here are free, but tips are appreciated. Don't worry, we're getting a different kind of payment, and it's not one you need to worry about.
